American Gun Control Problem: Background Checks

The Flawed System of Background Checks to Buy a Gun in the US

According to the Congressional Research Service there are roughly twice and many guns in the United States as there were in 1968. Over 300,000,000, yes 300 million guns in all. Or just about one gun per every man woman and child in the United States. We are a national armed and ready populous. Just so you know the next high rate of gun ownership per capital is in Serbia at 58,21 guns per 100 residents, followed by Yemen at 54.8 guns and then to Cyprus at only 36.4 guns per 100 residents. Gee the land of the free and brave, our country of peace has more guns per person than any place on the globe! Imagine we even outpace Iraq who has only 34 guns per 100 residents, but yet manages to murder our military personnel.

Who is Responsible for the Las Vegas Shooting?

Reflecting on the Las Vegas Shooting

Who is really responsible for the mass shooting, no mass murder, in Las Vegas? Clearly not one lone gunman in a hotel. Maybe it’s the same people who are really responsible for the mass murder of 49 people in Orlando in June of 2016 at Pulse. And the exact same people who murdered 28 young children at Sandy Hook in December of 2012. Time to wake up America and face reality. The number of dead from mass murder is increasing at an alarming rate.
